I have a roommate who has put up with my crap for 3 long-ass years, which is more than I would ask of aaaanyone. So this roommate, she has many loves, but one of her tops is horses. She’s ridden horses forever, loves them, all that shit, but now her home stable, one of the most treasured places in her life is coming under siege. There’s a proposal under consideration right now to build a road straight through Woodlawn Stables: the barn, the land, everything, basically erasing one of the last riding stables in Northern Virginia. It’s a historic site to top it off, but the reason I care? Because Paige cares. She’s my roommate and friend, and I haven’t been nearly as grateful to her as I should have been over the last three years. I’m crap at saying thanks… so if I can help with this, even indirectly (lol she doesn’t even know I have a tumblr) then that would mean I’ve started to pay back the debt I have to her. She’s kept me together through a lot of shit the last three years, kept me sane, and horses keep her sane. No one should take that away from her.
I don’t care if you scroll on by, and I’m not asking anyone to sign the petition, but if you could take a second to give a signal boost out to people who might want to sign the petition, that would be great. I know what the power of the net can do.
